ACRI
is a private company, created in Sophia-Antipolis in 1989 by five
engineers and scientists, founders stockholders still present in
the firm. More than 50 researchers, engineers, technicians work
in this company for public and private project owners on plans linked
to land planning, environment and natural risks. All the techniques
of observation (in-situ and satellite), numerical modelling (simulators
and chains of algorithmic processing), and physical modelling (models)
are exploited. We participate in numerous national and European
research programs in narrow collaboration with key laboratories
of the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) or from Europe.
Since our installation in the new offices and laboratories which
we accomplished in 2002 thanks to national and regional helps, we
exploit entirely our research capabilities in hydraulic and fluid
mechanics, particularly a wave and current flume.
ACRI,
according to situations, plays different roles, from project owner
assistance, technical or scientific control of work, up to the engineering
and research unit activity (specialized in mechanics, civil engineering
and Earth sciences) or judicial expertise to provide responsibility
elements during contradictory procedures.

ACRI plays a major
role of coordination for validation and exploitation of two main
tools: MERIS - ocean - et GOMOS - ozone
monitoring -, definition of data processing
algorithms for SMOS

European Union Framework Programme
(more than 15 participations and/or coordinations in research programs
on environment, climate, natural risks), control of work of
numerous maritime works
(e.g., Monaco Harbour infrastructures), control of work of PUMA
project (reception and processing of Meteosat Second Generation
installed in 50 countries of Africa), CNES
(satellite data assimilation in geophysical models), ANDRA
