D37 GIS layers of bathymetry, submarine multibeam and side-scan sonar maps and report – CNRS.DTP

This deliverable as well as D38 depends on a bathymetric survey to be performed outside the RETINA project. Unfortunately, the cruise proposal submitted in January 2002 for ship time aboard the N/O Suroit from IFREMER was rejected in June, 2002. CNRS.DTP extensively revised the proposal and submitted it again January 17, 2003 for a cruise in 2004. Unfortunately, the proposal was rejected once again (see report in appendix 1 of M24 periodic report).
